It once seemed that we could only
grow
Until
we somewhere along the way took a wrong turn
A new
kind of improved Homo Sapiens
But
somewhere along the road we got bitter, greedy
Not
greedily, but rapacious, the first could be explained
positively. One can be greedily for truth or true love
Alas
it was greed and salacity just too vulgar
We
chose that wide road that turned out so easily accessible
All, rich and poor, old and young, could travel the road, effortless,
The
tarmac of society on that we thunder meaningless
Full
of indulgence and full of ourselves and with hate for all
What
thwarts us in our morbid egoism and narcissism
Even the blood, the own child is in the way though
You
must have offspring, but will not take care of it
Nothing
may cost effort but the own pleasure
The
egotism in the highest banner, ergo ego maximum
Too
gloomy you think, all is not so bad
You
are probably different, but the only mirror you know is
Not that
of the soul, but that of ostentation….
…¿So
upon which do you judge this lampoon and yourself?...
