Awareness Earth

Awareness
earth
Be
convinced
Once
i
was
part
of
the
problem
Now
i
am
part
of
the
solution
Do
what
i
am
supposed
to
do
Pass
it
on
Make
this
a
chain
of
cleansing

A little prophet's wrinkles

The wrinkles
between my eyes
are there from frowning

not amused at what I saw

The wrinkles
on my forehead
are from marvelling

astounded at that what I saw

The wrinkles
at the corners of my mouth
are from laughing

scornfully at this society that I saw

The wrinkles
at the corners of my eyes
are from smiling

at you my friends and one true love I saw

The wrinkles
that are all mine
are the finest of lines

between my tears and all the wrong that I saw

When She Dances For Her Beloved (Haiku)

In a whirling dance
Her mind and body as one
Spiraling upward

A Collective Thought. A Haiku.

I am wandering
To find a sanctuary
I am wondering

I am wondering
Where to find sanctuary
I am wandering

NB.
At first I thought the title must be `A Jewish Thought´ (i.e. the wandering people) then I thought in more popular terms it should be `A Pilgrim's Thought´ (but that would give it too much of an unbidden religious content) so I considered an even more general term `A People's Thought´ but I decided in the end that the thought would probably go beyond our human limitations and that any life form will, at one point or another, feel this sense of urgency and threat so I chose this title: `A Collective Thought´. The lines speak for themselves.

Where it never is winter

I want to live in a place
that knows no winter

I do not need winter
for
I carry it with me in my heart

Forever Always

It is frozen
and
snowflakes drift
on liquid ice
through
my chilled aortas

When I cry
I bleed icicles as
little frosty teardrops

(That explode on your warm breast)

No, no I do not need winter
I will my cold core
in that embrace (of yours)
that knows of no winter

But what if my chronic chill
would have a melt down
like a dehydrated glacier

Would it just
vanish
or would it just
desiccate
that smile of yours

You, who knows not of winter....
