For the Love of Solitude - III

One could argue that the prophet, when describing seven heavens, had reached inside

level by level.  Mo did not ascend nor roam the skies, he just dove deeper and deeper.

Like all who hear beyond society's din and listen without longing as we travel in spirit.

Note.

Just a Sufi observation after meditating, becoming free, even in the use of prayer mantras, becoming still, surfacing in solitude..

For the Love of Solitude - II

There's noise around me

silently my spirit is watching

hearing with the hidden heart.

Note.

The proceeds of a summer spent on Theravada and Vipassana, I do not exist.

For the Love of Solitude - I

Ilãn,

You taught me

Truth is not limited, it is, like veritable meditation, it is, unlimited

As truth knows no boundaries, it is omni -presence and -awareness in one

So is true meditation, it is clear, it is real, objective, consciousness without judgment

Here is no illusion nor (self) deceit

In truth here is balance, harmony and integration

And from these come clarity, alertness and understanding

You taught me

Me

Note.

I signed with Me, but that could have been replaced or supplemented with these words:

unbound, solitude, insight, calm, joy, peace, wholeness, empathy, love,...of course love.

Post Scriptum.

I can be alone *

- physically

- mentally

- solely

I surpassed the chains of

- memory

- thought

- impurity

Alone, whole and free, I surface.

* this 'alone' does not signify that I must live a solitary life and/or (can) have no spouse.

In the deserts of Arabia in pre-Islamic time there were those who followed the monotheistic faith of Abraham, they were called hanif (meaning true believer, monotheist and/or upright).

The hanif, call(ed) God: Ilãn or Allah: the latter derived from Elah (Aramaic) or Eloi (Hebrew).

Note II.

Also I kindly refer to Surah 17:110

A Blissful Quietude

 🙏

From your living filled with words and poems

artisanal

you were shaping your silence into syllables

and that

made you content, yet still you long for more

cos that

brief surge of joy when all the words fall into

place

is not the bliss you seek, the thrill that stays

lingers

when you'll learn to mold your syllables into

silence

and then,...just maybe,...you've come home

Still Silent Silence

When my heart is dried out

and there is no amount of drinking

that can replenish the tears

that I have shed and that I will spill

running up the wall of silent

crying, craving, you back in my life

can only happen when still

and silent I seek to silence my own

for what is love what's love

or life when you are no longer here

a Haiku on Love

She persuaded me

to build a home stone by stone

for her heart and mine

Note.

💖 In a world filled with resentment I started a haiku contest on love yet love can never be contested 💖

Written for the Haiku contest 'a Haiku for Love' on Allpoetry.com.

Poem contest a Haiku for Love - All Poetry

No, correction, the truth is it was written for my true love and then published on blogger.com and then used for the kick off of a poetry contest on allpoetry.com.
