Democracy lost - a world's endgame
And so friends 'we are all death's own'
The quote 'we are all death's own' is a line in the: Als der Sandwirt von Passeier Insbruck (on Andreas Hofer, died 1809); an old political folk song for freedom.
Pessoa - she writes
as lovely as she looked
at one time - still
do you - expect anything from life
she inquired
do you want any - need any - ask any
where's desire left
she asked
I let it go - as I stopped asking - accepted
seclusion - reclusion
a loneliness - that healed
unclosed the depth of existence
of the wind howling
- and of birds soaring
of a dew drop on a hair
- sun on a skin and a tear
I just am - these days anyhow

Inspired by the extraordinary poet Fernando Pessoa, as this beauty is his:
"It is the solitude of the one that has gotten too far in front of his fellow travellers"
Song of perfection
what was wrought
in that ancient era
of
controlled irregularity
and did it so create
a purity and a calm
in this world of inadequacy of crookedness
I sit and paint a picture
of her face and spill
with grace a line
so
like a spot on
the pottery of old
for she's perfection
in her imperfection a lovely flower never to wilt
Ah, could I be a wise
and remain ever still
be tranquil my heart
as
she crosses paths
this pallid poetess
and warms hearts

And in the end
How come
that the billionaire
that dies
is so much poorer
in his end
than the vagabond
that dies
without a penny
and what about the rest of man
in their end
those that are neither rich nor poor
that try to scrape by
caring for their body and those that do not
all aiming for some warmth and love
and not even always at the expense of others
perhaps not having heaven on their minds just surviving
do you think they will ever find the path
what end will we have in the end
well, you and I
just One....

The real pandemic
that is truly endemic
whirling through society
is the stupidity and anxiety
of rulers, politicians, burocrats
and
of the q-anon masses in the streets
and
yet democracy is still man's better option

My heart tells
me I am lost
within you *
* as
The Prophet wept
- as I cried -
We share hearts
* as
My Master offered
His heart to me as
I volunteered mine
