To Be Free In A Burka

I have this want for privacy

A need to be free from looks

No facial program to register

And to allot citizen points

For behavior or disobedience

I think I will dress up in a burka

No one to recognize me, safe,

What stops me is the abstention

Of my beauty to the world, grin,

Moreover the nauseating thought

Of repulsive men thinking obscene

What is underneath my garment

So if not the burka is the problem

But the lewd eyes of the beholder

Why not blind the piteous lecher

Of whatever creed and deliver him

From his unholy eyes, his own sin,                                                            see Matthew 18:9

To grant him his wanted holiness

And so solve this need for burkas

What yet remains to be settled is

My freedom from facial recognition….

PS.
I could've used the niqab too, but because there the eyes are still unveiled I chose the burka for maximum effect of protection….or exclusion….
