The blame game

Lockdown televised
a well-meaning youth pastor 
who was asking
himself and his pupils
is this coronavirus a punishment
of God

But no it isn't

For all this that's happening
the climate change
the corona rampant
the anxiety pandemic
the hunger and starvation
the war of men
against earth and itself

For all this fine pandemonium
you humans cannot blame 
your God

For all this that's happening
dear influencers
dear political leaders

dear titled and filthy rich
dear captains of industry

dear colonels and generals
dear middle class and have-nots

You deplorables can only blame yourselves
